Pain that is caused by arthritis or other damage to the joints may be treated with a joint injection. We use ultrasound or fluoroscopy to guide the injection to the joint. A guided approach ensures the maximum amount of medication will be delivered precisely to the intended target. This injection may be performed using either an anesthetic or corticosteroid or a combination of both to address both the inflammation and pain.
